Strategic Account Manager

The Strategic Account Manager is a senior sales development position responsible for setting and implementing a strategy to penetrate Fortune 500 type companies. In addition, effectively managing and growing a revenue base of current Enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically target and acquire Large Enterprise opportunities
  • Conduct in person presentations and demonstrations
  • Effectively manage and develop growth strategies to increase revenue from existing accounts
  • Work effectively as part of a sales team and independently
  • Competently lead the sales cycle
  • Involve necessary resources in order to deliver and execute solutions
  • Be an expert in solutions, policies and procedures
  • Negotiate terms with prospects and existing clients
  • Report daily and weekly to Sales Director/Regional Sales Manager
  • Provide monthly forecasting reports to Sales Manager
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity within sales database

Requirements

  • Experience in solutions and technology selling
  • University Degree
  • 5+ years selling experience
  • Has successful track record of acquiring Large Enterprise opportunities and competently managing the sales cycle
  • Entrepreneurial character
  • Must have a persuasive nature and a professional phone demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be a committed, self-starter who has the drive to succeed in a high-energy team environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot issues independently
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft office applications
